The task forces were created to develop and oversee PNHP California’s programs in the three areas of our strategic plan: growth, education and advocacy. The task forces are standing committees of the Board, comprised of Board members and other PNHP activists from all over the state.

Leadership Development
This task force is concerned with Board development, bylaws revisions, development of our Advisory Council, and other leadership development issues.

Chapter & Membership Development
This task force is charged with developing strategies to grow the membership, and to grow and support our local chapters. The members of this task force include the leaders of our active local chapters.

Fundraising & Finance Task Force
This task force is charged with developing strategies to grow the organization by attracting more funding. It also oversees the finances of the organization.

Education, Media & Research
This task force helps develop all of our educational outreach programs and our communications programs, such as our speakers bureau, the community health center outreach program, our website and social network sites, the newsletter, our media relations, and others.

Advocacy & Coalition Building
This task force oversees our legislative advocacy efforts, including our Action Alert and District Leader programs, as well as recommends our political and legislative strategy.
