Jeoffry B. Gordon, MD MPH – San Diego, Ca
Dr. Gordon has been a family doc in solo practice in San Diego for over 30 years. He came to San Diego to help start the San Ysidro Community Health Center. He was the first medical director of the Beach Area Health Center and helped develop the San Diego Council of Community Clinics. During 2009 he gave over 40 community presentations, including five Medical Grand Rounds, supporting single payer health reform. He also lectures on social justice issues. He is a member of the Board of Directors of PNHP California.

Paul J. Friedman, MD – San Diego, Ca
Dr. Friedman is currently a Professor Emeritus of Radiology at UC San Diego, studying quantitative pulmonary CT. Besides his special interest in chest radiology; he also studies anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the lung. He has had substantial decanal experience and interest in research ethics and conflict of interest. Dr. Friedman observed the irrationality of health care insurance many years ago, and wonders why a government-paid health care system hasn’t yet been adopted. He likes to explore this question with business leaders and thoughtful members of the public in San Diego.
