Sara Elizabeth Rogers – Sacramento, Ca
Ms. Rogers currently serves as a legislative consultant on health care policy for State Senator Mark Leno. She is the senior staff member working on Senator Mark Leno’s universal health care bill, SB 810, the California Universal Health Care Act, for which she coordinates policy research and development, legislative strategy, grassroots organizing and communications work. Ms. Rogers frequently represents the Senate at public forums and events throughout the state, speaking about universal health care and health reform.

Rose Roach – Stockton, Ca
Ms. Roach has been a Field Director for the River Delta Field Office of the California School Employees Association (CSEA) since 2003. She also serves as one of CSEA’s representatives on the Board of the CA Education Coalition for Health Care Reform (CECHCR) and is the labor co-chair for CECHCR’s Governmental Affairs Committee. In addition Ms. Roach is the coalition coordinator for the San Joaquin County Health Care Coalition. Ms. Roach is the chair of the CA Democratic Party’s Progressive Caucus’ Health Care Committee. For the last few years Ms. Roach has been concentrating on working to educate the public about single payer health care reform.
