Wendy Ring, MD, MPH

Doctor Wendy Ring has dedicated her career to bringing health care to the medically underserved. After working for several years as a community organizer, she attended Yale and Columbia Universities, graduating with joint degrees in Medicine and Public Health. She served as a physician on the Navajo reservation in the National Health Service Corps, at Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless, and then founded a mobile clinic in rural northwest California providing care for the low income, undocumented, and uninsured; where she continued as medical director for 21 years.

Corrine Frugoni, MD

Dr. Corinne Frugoni is a family practitioner at United Indian Health Services, a tribally run community health center.  Additionally she works at the student health center at Humboldt State University. Dr. Frugoni graduated from UC Davis Medical School and completed her residency at Santa Monica Hospital.  She subsequently became certified in medical acupuncture. Prior to her medical career, Dr. Frugoni worked as a pediatric occupational therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area. She began actively working on single payer in 1993. She continues to advocate for universal health care.
