The Assembly Health Committee will hold a hearing on the single payer bill SB 810 on Tuesday, June 29th. If your assembly member (find your assembly member here) is on the health committee, it is critical that you contact them to urge their support for the bill. The bill must pass out of health committee to stay alive. The Assembly Health committee members are:

If your legislator is on the health committee, please do one or more of the following:
1) WRITE a letter to your Assembly member today.
Find your members’ Sacramento email address here. Write a brief letter urging support for SB810. Mention that you are a member of PNHP California and that you live in the legislator’s district.
2) CALL your Assembly member’s Sacramento office before June 29th .
Assembly member phone info here. Ask to speak to the aide in charge of health issues. Tell that person you are a PNHP member and constituent and are calling to urge the Assembly member’s support for SB 810.
3) COME TO SACRAMENTO on June 29th.
You can join other SB 810 supporters at the hearing, which begins at 1:30 PM. A group of PNHP California will be making drop-in visits to the Assembly health committee members in the morning.
