Nancy Greep has been an advocate of and speaker for single payer health insurance ever since 1985 when she began to teach clinical medicine in an outpatient clinic that served indigent patients in Orange County. She graduated from Radcliffe College and attended medical school at Yale and Einstein. She did a residency in internal medicine at U.C. Irvine and then was a staff physician at Kaiser for 5 years. Afterwards, she did a fellowship in endocrinology at USC and then joined the faculty at UCI where she taught in the primary care internal medicine division for 15 years. . Her medical interest is women’s health. She currently practices at St. John’s in Santa Monica and participates in clinical research at the John Wayne Cancer Institute. She is a member of PNHP, CAPA, Health Care for All California, and is district leader for AD 42 for Operation Single Payer.
